New Junior B Hockey League Hits the Ice

The 2018-2019 hockey season will see a new Junior “B” hockey league hit the ice.

The Capital Region Junior Hockey League (CRJHL) will begin play this season.  Founding member clubs of the league include the Selkirk Fishermen, St. Malo Warriors, North Winnipeg Satelites, Arborg Ice Dawgs and the Lundar Falcons.

The CRJHL caters to players 16-21 years old, looking to play competitive, fast paced hockey.  The league has a schedule that allows players to attend school or work, while still competing at a high level of play.

The inaugural CRJHL regular season game will take place on Friday, October 12 at 7:30 pm in St. Malo, when the St. Malo Warriors play host to the Selkirk Fishermen.  The following evening, on October 13, the North Winnipeg Satelites will visit the Arborg Ice Dawgs and on Sunday, October 14, the Lundar Falcons will battle the Selkirk Fishermen at the Selkirk Rec Complex.
